    So basically I got this fucking 90$ headset, plugged in the mic cord to the mic output hole thing. And it's not working and I'm pissed :mad:. The sound works fine but the mic is just having problems. I've tried un-installing drivers and re-installing them. I just don't know what to do at this point so I came here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. AND YES THE CORD IS "SECURELY FASTENED IN THE OUTPUT HOLE THING" fuck outta here.
    This is the headset:

    The mics been cutting out like really bad also if that helps.

    @Panchod can you believe this?

    Wait does it lag your game or does it just not work? Anyways try to see if you have it paired on Steam.

    Right-click the speaker icon in the tray on the bottom right, go to Recording devices. Make sure your microphone is actually enabled.

    It's enabled but for example when I speak into it the meter only goes up 1-2 bars. As-well whenever I use the mic it cuts out really often.

    What's the volume set to for it? Should be under Properties.

    I notice it's louder, which is good thanks. But it still seems to cut out just a bit

    If you have a decent desktop, you should have two input jacks. Try them both (front and back).
    You can also open it and make sure the wires are properly connected to the mobo, too.

    If you're using a laptop, GLWT.

    If it's already selected, and you've tried everything, I'd either try to get it returned or call their tech support.
